In memory of Sara Manstretta and Claudio Marchesi

Last August 13, around 6 p.m., Sara and Claudio were on their way to the pub on their Vespa. A person in the other lane got sick and took them away from us in an instant.We are the friends of the pub, the friends of a lifetime, the vacation friends, the sharing friends, the parallel family that each of us chooses.They were two wonderful people, generous, caring, cheerful, vital. They did not miss an opportunity to share or to help, always the first to expose themselves, always the first to organize. Affection, irony, listening, family ... in short, I think you understand what we mean.They and their families were involved in volunteer work and associations in our city.They loved each other, a lot, they were always together, they always had a project that could not be done if not as a couple, a couple even in the most difficult moments.Because the difficult moments came when Sara, eight years ago, found out she had a form of MS, at 39 years old; a tremendous blow. And yet they didn't give up, they tried, they tried, they changed treatments, and for some time it had been going well, the disease had slowed down thanks to the innovative treatments and the stubbornness of that woman and her husband.That's why we all decided to make this collection to be donated to the AISM section of PAVIA, because the pain we keep, the emptiness also, but the memory also passes in helping the research that helped our friends live better the last years. May our remembrance serve to create more memories.

We are the friends of the pub, the friends of a lifetime, the vacation friends, the sharing friends, the parallel family that each of us chooses.

They were two wonderful people, generous, caring, cheerful, vital. They did not miss an opportunity to share or to help, always the first to expose themselves, always the first to organize. Affection, irony, listening, family ... in short, I think you understand what we mean.
