SECTION OF BRESCIA
The Brescia provincial section of AISM was founded in 1982 by
by some people directly involved (people with MS and family members) with the
the purpose of addressing a problem then unknown to most.
The Provincial Section of the Italian Association of Sclerosis
Multiple Sclerosis (AISM) of Brescia is the point of reference for people with
multiple sclerosis and disabilities who seek assistance and support in the management
of their condition. We offer a wide range of services to help
people with multiple sclerosis and disabilities to live more active and
fulfilling.
Counseling and information services on sclerosis
multiple sclerosis, symptom management, available therapies, and resources
and rights available to people with disabilities. Our goal is to
to provide clear and useful information to help people with sclerosis
multiple sclerosis and disabilities to make informed decisions about their health. For
facilitate access to statutory benefits, we also offer a
counseling service for the assessment of civil disability, handicap
and work-related benefits.
To help people with multiple sclerosis and disability to
maintain an active and fulfilling lifestyle, we offer a wide range of
socialization activities, such as support groups, cultural and
entertainment, adapted physical activities and yoga.
Our goal is to create a welcoming and
inclusive environment where people with multiple sclerosis and disabilities can
meet, exchange experiences and build a support network.
Finally, we also offer psychological counseling services
to help people with multiple sclerosis and disabilities manage the stress and
emotional difficulties related to the disease.
