Since 1977 is active the Provincial Section AISM of Milan, wanted by people attentive to the problems related to multiple sclerosis, volunteers who believed in the value of solidarity. Thanks to all those who over the years have continued to believe in the work done is now one of the most active sections in Italy, able to meet the demands for intervention and advice of many people with multiple sclerosis and their families.
The services and actions carried out daily by the Section, through the commitment of volunteers and operators, are:
Social counseling - important link between citizens with MS, institutions and the territory;
Economic aid - service aimed at supporting people with MS in a moment of difficulty;
Mobility - ensures access to aids and facilitative measures to ensure autonomy and personal mobility;
Psychological support;
Support for personal autonomy - home care services with the involvement of territorial networks, proximity and the family nucleus;
Support for hospitalization.
