The Section has been active for twenty years in the province of Naples and in 2021 provided over 8,000 hours of activity alongside people with multiple sclerosis.
The priority projects for the Section of Naples are:
The AISM desk: reference point for everything related to the world of MS, a clarifying center to get answers to all the questions of those who live with this disease.
Receptionand orientation: the reception is the first activity of contact and relationship with people affected by MS. The Section listens to the person, understands his/her specific needs, informs him/her about the possible solutions available, helps him/her to use the information by directing, accompanying or involving the competent territorial services.

Support to the autonomy of the person: Direct support includes all those activities that ensure support to the person with MS and his family in the management of daily activities. The objective of all direct support activities is to promote the autonomy of the person, encouraging his involvement and participation in particular in the management of daily aspects, facilitating the most burdensome aspects and offering support to the family caregiver. Thanks to the partnership with the association Angeli in Moto has activated a service of withdrawal and delivery of medicines throughout the province.
Organization of online information events on all topics of interest to people affected by MS. The project is promoted by the group of young people with MS of the section.
