In the year 2005, in a CSM office in Tropea, a group of 5 people who shared the same problem: multiple sclerosis met weekly, assisted by Dr. Michele Iannello and Dr. Martorana Francesca. In that context, everyone externalized their reflections, emotions, problems and requests.

there, according to the same national scenario, it was decided to establish the provincial section A

ISM of Vibo

The AISM Section of Vibo Valentia, present in the territory since 2006, has become an
important point of reference for people living with
MS and for their family members

. With the help of volunteers, boys/girls from the
Volunteer Civil Service, these are the activities and services provided:
  • Psychological support;
  • Transportation;
  • Social secretariat;
  • Legal counseling;
  • Home care;
  • Information and awareness activities;
  • Recreational and socialization activities.
At our Section the Desk is active, by appointment, for needs of
information, guidance and accompaniment in the resolution of problems
related to multiple sclerosis.
