Me, my 40 and my MS

Well yes...on Sunday I officially enter the"ages"...ouch ouch ouch! Unfortunately, the celebrations are forced to be postponed due to a series of health and family misfortunes...but they are only postponed! In the meantime, I have decided to dedicate my birthday to this cause because, as some of you know, a little over a year ago I was introduced to my new, unexpected and uncomfortable life partner:multiple sclerosis, relapsing remitting form. A crazy blow, at an unpleasant time (is there a nice time for such news?) because I had just started my new job, with my second day in the PS and first week hospitalized. Great start!!! :DLet's add that the world around had already collapsed because of COVID19 and mine collapsed even more by finding out that I was a "fragile subject" in the middle of a pandemic. What an ass! :PA little over a year after the onset of strong symptoms, I have some characteristic symptoms, such as "tiredness all of a sudden" (hard to describe but it's as if my body is telling me stop, rest, sleep, don't even think about doing anything), there are days on and days off, however, I'm fine, I'm following the therapy (pharmacological and psychological) and the MRI check showed no new lesions and the situation is stable. Sogood! Could it be because the therapy is working? Could it be because the disease has decided to stay put? It is not known. Living withuncertainty is one of the hardest things to learn (when will I get a new relapse? how strong will it be? how will I be tomorrow?), then take a planned and organized person like me and...bye-bye! Slowly you accept it (very slowly...) and start to appreciate the present, without worrying about things you can't control(https://apparenzainganna.aism.it/).I and 3 million other people in the world have only one way to lessen this uncertainty, give us a sustainable life perspective and an ultimate cure:research! So I hope you will support me with a donation to celebrate my birthday, every contribution is crucial! Thank you very much :*
