United States coast to coast by bike for AISM
A campaign for the event "Trans America Bike Race"
Fundraising by Salvatore Bonfiglio
In October 2019 I was finally able to get my master's degree in exercise science after several years of delay, with a thesis that was about multiple sclerosis.
That day I realized that it was not fair that I had managed to get something as good and important as a degree because of something as bad as a disease, so I decided that as soon as I had the chance I would do something to try to get back what I had been given.
The pandemic unfortunately slowed down my plans but it never stopped them and last July I was able to accomplish my project, during my participation in the North Cape 4000, a 4600 km bike ride across half of Europe to the North Cape, I organized a fundraiser through social with which we raised almost 1300 euros all destined for AISM.
This year I want to try to do more, both on the bike but especially with fundraising.
On June 5, I will be at the start of the Trans America Bike Race, one of the toughest sporting events in the world, nearly 7,000 km on a bicycle to cross the United States from coast to coast.
Although we didn't get there last year the goal always remains to raise one euro for every km I will have to ride, maybe this year we will reach it and even exceed it.
